Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before booking a Spanish lesson with Graciela.

How are the lessons structured?

Every lesson is one-on-one with Graciela, 60 minutes, over video call. There are no group classes — the full hour is focused on you: your level, your goals, and the mistakes you're actually making.

I'm a complete beginner. Is that a problem?

Not at all. Lessons are tailored to your level from the very first session, whether that's your first hello in Spanish or you're already holding conversations and want to sound more natural.

How much do lessons cost?

Pricing depends on your goals and how often you want to meet, so it's easiest to ask directly. Message me on Telegram (@bellawriter) and I'll answer personally.

What do lessons actually look like — just grammar drills?

No. Expect real conversation from early on, plus music, films, and literature mixed in with grammar when it's actually useful — not dry textbook exercises for their own sake.

How do I book a lesson?

Send a message on Telegram (@bellawriter). I reply personally to every message and we'll agree on a schedule that fits your timezone.

Who is Graciela?

A native Spanish speaker from Madrid with a Master's in Language Education and 7 years of teaching experience online.

Which accent will I learn — Spain or Latin America?

Graciela is a native speaker from Madrid, so lessons default to peninsular Spanish. That said, understanding other accents is part of becoming a confident speaker, so she'll help you get comfortable with Latin American Spanish too if that's relevant to you.

What if I need to reschedule or cancel a lesson?

Just message me on Telegram as soon as you know — I'll work out a new time with you. Life happens, and it's easier to sort out with a quick message than to worry about it in advance.

Is there homework between lessons?

Sometimes — a song, a short reading, a phrase to practice — but it's kept light on purpose. The point is to reinforce what you covered, not to add pressure on top of the lesson itself.

How soon can I start?

As soon as we agree on a time. Message me on Telegram and you can typically get a first lesson on the calendar within a few days.

Do I need to prepare anything before the first lesson?

No — just show up with a stable video call connection and, if you like taking notes, a notebook. Graciela brings material tailored to your level once she knows a bit about you.
